Sounds of Kamo is a youthful musical and artistic movement that was established in 2015 and comprises of 3-5 members. This movement has a new age urban sound of soul and jazz influenced music. The founder of the band, Kamogelo Matsoso, is a 23 year old female artist coming from Vereeniging. Kamo embarked on her journey as a musician from the age of 6. She began playing the keyboard at the age of 8 and took on the flute at age 10. She went to Pro Arte Alphen Park High School where she learned to play the alto saxophone and found her love for jazz music. Kamo completed her studies in Jazz performance at the Wits School of Arts in 2016 and is now completing her honours in History of Arts and Music Business.

Unathi is the modern day African Renaissance Woman that continues to evolve through time. The award winning singer, songwriter, SA Idols Judge and radio host continues to fly the South African flag high. She was the first African to voice a Character on Walt Disney Junior for the incredibly popular show Doc Mc Stuffins. In 2001, Unathi moved to Johannesburg to become a radio presenter for YFM. Musically Unathi has wooed audiences of all calibers. This Power House has graced South Africa's biggest stages including the Cape Town International Jazz Festival as well as the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz alongside many others. She has shared the stage with international greats such as John Legend, Yossou- Ndou, Chaka Khan and Dbanj. One of her proudest achievements is composing her song Sgubhu which features on the soundtrack for the Oscar/Academy Award winning movie Tsotsi. Over the years she has collected a string of accolades that have stamped her as one of the most influential women in entertainment.
