Miss g's journey to discovering her own sound has begun. On her upcoming debut album, Pearls to Pigs, she does her bit in paying homage to Soul and R&B music by putting together a collection of love songs that speak about falling in love, falling out of love, the subsequent heartache and the getting over. After all, the message contained in Soul music has always been just that, and it finds resonance with anybody, anywhere because we all know a thing or two about the highs and lows of love.
